WhaleCue (the "Service") has this policy in place to protect users' personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea, and to handle related inquiries promptly.
1. Personal information we process and why

We do not collect passwords. You can log in only with a Google account.
2. Retention and deletion
- Member information and alert settings are kept until you delete your account, and are deleted without delay when you do.
- Login session information expires automatically after at most 30 days.
- Usage analytics are deleted once the analytics tool's retention period (up to 14 months) has passed.
- Electronic files are deleted in a way that cannot be recovered.
3. Sharing with third parties
We do not provide users' personal information to third parties, except when required by law.
4. Outsourced processing and transfers abroad
To run the Service, we entrust processing to the companies below, and in the process your information may be transferred abroad (including to the United States). Transfers take place over encrypted connections when you use the Service.

If you do not want your information transferred abroad, you can choose not to sign up, or delete your account. In that case, features that require login will not be available.
5. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in and for usage analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but you will not stay logged in.
6. Your rights
You can at any time request to view, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop its processing.
- Delete account: My settings › Account › Delete account
- Turn off alerts: Turn off alerts or device subscriptions in My settings
- Other requests: Send them to the contact below and we will handle them without delay.
7. How we keep it safe
- Connections are encrypted.
- Only operators can access the database.
- Login information is exchanged only through signed cookies.

9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will announce it on the blog starting 7 days before it takes effect.
